The Summer Reading Program is open to all children from age 3 to age 12. We have a Wee Readers program for those 2 and under!
- You must have an Oldham County Public Library Card in good standing to be registered for the reading program.
- All registered participants should track the number of minutes read. For each 20 minutes read, color in a splash (on reading log). Preschoolers may count minutes read to them.
- When you have colored in five splashes, you can enter the drawing for our weekly prizes and the grand prize drawing at the end of the summer.
- When you have colored in 15 splashes, come for your prize and a coupon to the summer reading pool party!
- For each additional five splashes, you can enter into the drawing for our grand prize again.

Please note we have different craft days for different age groups.
June 16th: Fun in the Sun Craft Day. T-shirt and Flip Flop decoration craft for ages 8-12 @ 1pm. Bring a plain white t-shirt. Signups required- begin June 2nd.
June 24th: Oceans of Fun! Stores and crafts for ages 3-7 @1pm. Sign ups required, begin June 10th.
June 29th: Scrub-a-dub-dub fun! Make your own soap and bath scrub for ages 8-12. 1pm @ Main. Signups required, begin June 15th.

Silly Safaris
Together we learn about conservation through interactive play! We will see a variety of reptiles, mammals, birds and bugs for an experience that everyone will remember. Everyone gets to pet animals.
