Drilling begins on the geo-exchange system which will provide heating and cooling for the Library. Fifty-five 300-foot deep wells will be drilled and piping installed under the future parking lot. Our earth's interior--like the sun--provides heat energy from nature. This heat--geothermal energy--yields warmth and power that can be used without polluting the environment.
