Meeting Space at Main Library

The Oldham County Public Library is pleased to offer meeting space for public use.

If you are interested in reserving one of the meeting rooms at the Main Library in LaGrange, please read the policy carefully and then submit an application for use. If you have any questions, please contact the meeting room coordinator.

What type of space is available?

Who can use the meeting room?
      1. Full meeting room- seats 170 in theatre style arrangement or 20 rectangular tables that can seat 8 each, full access to two coat closets, full kitchen including stove (four range top with oven), microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer (four electrical outlets in kitchen), two projection screens, 32 electrical outlets, 4 phone jacks, 4 data line outlets, two windows, exterior door, two access points to Main Library.
      2. Half meeting room (north side) - seats 80 in theatre seating, or 10 rectangular tables that can seat 8 each, exterior door, one coat closet, one access point to Main Library, access to full kitchen,  one projection screen, 16 outlets, 2 phone jacks, 2 data line outlets, separate climate and lighting control, window.
      3. Half meeting room (South side) - seats 80 in theatre seating, or 10 rectangular tables that can seat 8 each,  exterior door, one coat closet, one access point to Main Library, access to full kitchen,  one projection screen, 16 outlets, 2 phone jacks, 2 data line outlets, separate climate and lighting control, window.
      4. Conference room (in administrative offices) – Large board room setting seats 10 around table, ice maker and sink available, one projection screen,  12 outlets, 3 phone jacks, 3 data line outlets, separate climate and lighting control, windows.
      5. Future availability- Computer lab

  4. Non-Profit private functions by recognized organizations at Director or Director’s designee’s prerogative.

How do I request meeting room space?

Fill out an application and submit it by e-mail, mail, or turn it into your local Oldham County Library. Once your application is submitted, you will be contacted, and your reservation will be confirmed.

I'm attending a program at the Libary- How do I get there?

Directions:

From Route 71

Exit from Route 71 at exit #22 (LaGrange).
Turn north onto Route #53.
Turn left onto Crystal Dr.
Turn left onto Parker Dr.
Turn right at first drive where you see the Library sign.

From LaGrange

Proceed south on Route #53.
Turn right onto Yager Ave.
Turn left at the Library sign.
