Computer:

Microsoft Office Training- This is the official Microsoft office site. There are several good free resources here to help you work with Office programs and applications.

Internet Basics- Not comfortable surfing the web? This site will help set you up with some of the basics to make you feel more at home.

Typing- If you can get past the ads, this is a handy site to practice typing. They offer a free typing evaluation test (knowing your skills is essential in an interview) and exercises to increase your speed.

 

 

Directions to Main Library:

From 71 north:

Take exit 22 and turn left off of the ramp. Turn left at the second stoplight, onto Yager Avenue (between the Long John Silvers' and the Swiftys'). The Library is a block down on the left.

From 71 South:

Take exit 22 and turn right off the ramp. Turn left at the second stoplight, onto Yager Avenue. The Library is a block down on the left.

From Crestwood:

Take HWY 146 into Lagrange. Turn right at the 4-way stop where 146 and 53 meet (between Court houses). Cross rail road tracks and turn right at 2nd stoplight (onto Yager Avenue). Library is a block down on the left.

From Goshen:

Take HWY 42 towards Sligo. Turn right onto 53; take into LaGrange. Continue straight for two 4-way stops. Turn right at 2nd stoplight (onto Yager Avenue). Library is a block down on the left.

The Library currently has several locations with Public Computerspublic computers, free for use by the community.

Each branch also has free wi-fi access. Fax accessability, printing capabilities, and assistance with any of these services is also readily available. Call your local branch for more information.

Due to a generous donation from Fastline Printing, the Main Library will soon have a computer lab for the purpose of offering free public classes on computer use!
