Branch Manager, South Oldham Library

This is administrative and professional Library work assisting in the direction of all services of the branch Library in Crestwood. Work includes responsibility for day-to-day operations of the Library, participating in budget preparations and fiscal management, overseeing direct public services, managing personnel, continual study and evaluation of library services.  Paraprofessional Library Certification required; Professional Library Certification and an ALA approved MLS preferred.

Digital Media Lab Coordinator, Main Library

Under direction of the Outreach Librarian, the Digital Media Lab Coordinator specializes in assisting patrons with computer technology and maintaining and promoting the Digital Media Lab at the Main Library in LaGrange. The DML Coordinator performs specialized tasks in relation to this including: teaching computer classes; facilitating scheduled individual lab use; editing podcasts; filming and editing instructional videos; assisting to maintain digital library publications such as email newsletters, and community calendars; and helping develop or implement new projects/classes/resources that encourage use of DML. This is a full time (37.5hr a week) non-exempt position. Applicants must be available to work nights and weekends.
