NEW FEATURES

Titles on order are now showing in the catalog and requests/holds can be placed directly into the catalog.

You can call the branch library to place a hold on any item once it has been ordered.

You can place a hold online by logging in to your library card account.

You can print the list below (or pick up a list at the library), check off what you want, bring the list to the library, and we will place the holds for you.

Here are some other new things you can do.

You can get a list of all items on order in a certain category (Adult books, DVDs, Juvenile books, Young Adult books) by doing a search in the catalog. Go to the catalog and click on "search the catalog." Click on "set limits." Under collection, choose any of the "on order" collections. Click "ok." On the next screen, simply click on "search."

You can set up an RSS feed to notify you when titles are added to a search you have just run. When you see the list from a search you have run, click on "RSS" (small orange button at top left or bottom left of screen). You can then set up a configuration to notify you when new titles are added to that particular search. The notification will come automatically through your internet browser.

If you would like to see all new items added in a certain time frame, go to the catalog and click on "search the catalog." Click on the "new items" tab and select a time frame under "received since." Then click on "search."

You can save a list of items to a list and then place requests on the entire list at one time. Do a search and check the titles you want to request. Under "select an option to save result," choose "save checked items to list." Then click on "review list" at top of page. When you see the list of items you checked, under "select option," choose to place requests. Follow the next steps to place the requests on your account.

Check the catalog to see what we have received or what has been ordered. Orders are normally placed between the 20th and 24th of each month.
